Peterson puts on a show at Pro Bowl
Former LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson was selected for his seventh straight NFL Pro Bowl, giving him the chance to compete in the annual event in each of the seven seasons he's been in the NFL.
Once again, Peterson didn't disappoint.
The Arizona Cardinals star nabbed a pair of interceptions for the NFC, including one interception that came in the end zone as the AFC was knocking on the door for points just before halftime.
His interceptions came off Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith and Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.
Peterson's strong Pro Bowl comes after he recorded a career-best 64 tackles this past season, also recording one interception and one sack on the year. He allowed 26 catches on the year on 60 targets.
Peterson was a likely choice for an MVP selection following the game, but a late touchdown gave the AFC the lead, and the Defensive MVP award went to Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller, who sealed the win with a strip-sack in the final minute.
Here's a look at Peterson's two interceptions in Sunday's game.
